I knocked my ball down the hill, between 2 trees, and into the hole.

Joel knocked his ball down the hill, it passed the hole and kept on rolling. “Ahhhhhhh!” He shouted.

“Are you okay?” I asked.

“Get away from me!”

I went back to my cabin to read.

That evening, I watched the Ping-Pong tournament.

“Who’s next?” Joel said.

I stepped to the table.

“I won the SkipBo Tournament today, Andy!”

He served me the ball with wicked spin and I sliced it off the table.

Then I scored several points.

“God!” Joe screamed. He flung his Ping-Pong paddle to the floor.

We got to game point. I slammed the ball and Joel missed it.

“Aaaaaaaah!” He yelled. And he smashed his paddle through the wall.

The next day, we ate hotdogs around the firepit.

Ross joined us. “Where’s Andy’s friend?”

“He’s sleeping in. Doesn’t have much of a personality,” Joel said.

Then David joined us. “Andy, would you like to go down to the creek and catch crawdads.”

“Sure!” I said.

Later that evening, we stayed up late and watch the satellites and B-2 Bombers flying overhead. They looked like alien spaceships.

A drug dealer who found Jesus was sleeping under the stars with a girl. He asked us, “What do you think of that girl who sang a solo during worship!”

“She’s hot!” David said.

Joel laughed. “That’s the girl he’s with.”

“So, what are we going to do about that bossy girl?” Ross asked. “I dare you to knock on her door and ask her out.” Nobody volunteered, but David stood up and walked to her cabin. He knocked on her door. She opened it.

“Why are you here?” She asked.

“I think you know why I’m here!” David said.

“No, I don’t.”

“I’m here to ask you out!”

“I think I’d better get my dad!”

David ran.

“I thought you said David had no personality?” Ross asked.

Joel didn’t know what to say.
